Service Description

Kansa means “bronze' and bronze is a combination of copper and tin and is known in India as the HEALING METAL. The word Kansa comes from the Sanskrit which is India's sacred language. The four Kansa Wand tools are the Foot Wand, Face and Body Wand, Face or Personal Wand, and the Marma Tool, in order of largest to smallest. The largest Kansa Wand is used when working on the feet and functions to open the arch in the foot and creates a nice balancing effect. The goal is not to perform reflexology, as such, but if reflexology were the goal, then the smallest Kansa tool would be used, which is the Marma tool. For the face, the smaller of the Kansa Wands is used. It can be used for working on the head, shoulders and neck as well as well as any other part of the body, including the feet, although the larger of the Kansa Wands is often used for the feet. The Marma Tool, the smallest of all the tools, is used for targeting specific points on the body and is very useful for targeting facial, or Marma points. There are no less than 11 Marma Points on the face. The medium sized Kansa Wand is generally used for the face and body, including neck, shoulders, gluteus, while the smaller version is generally used just on the face. However, the Wands can be used interchangeably, of course. Sometimes a graying effect occurs on the skin while using the Kansa Wands and this graying effect indicates that toxins are being drawn out from deeper in the body/tissues. The graying is easily wiped away. By eliminating toxins, the body is decreasing its level of acidity.
